Breakfast of toast and coffee and then off for a walk around town sightseeing, and catching up on logistics – car hire for a couple of days to see Sierra Nevada, rail tickets to Barcelona and looking for secure internet. Success on the first two – no luck with internet.
With car booked from tomorrow until Thursday morning we continue our leisurely stroll with the Sunday throngs. Heading towards 2pm those restaurants perched on the hill that we spied yesterday are our goal. We select the one with the amazing vista over the town below and the Alhambra on the hillside in front. Sadly we are once again disappointed with very ordinary food at very high prices. Despite the food we have a great afternoon there and toddle to our room for siesta.
Refreshed after nap we head off again and find internet around the corner where we complete our logistics and book an apartment in Barcelona – it looks gorgeous. We select a Moorish restaurant for a late meal and are delighted with beautiful food at reasonable prices.
